PETER BONE TO VISIT HIGHAM FERRERS INFANTS SCHOOL OVER SAFETY FEARS
Peter Bone, Member of Parliament for Wellingborough and Rushden will be visiting Higham Ferrers Infants School in Wharf Road, Higham Ferrers this Friday (12 December 2008) at 9am to receive a petition from parents and teachers concerned about the safety of children attending the local schools.
Peter Bone MP says: ‘As part of my Listening to Wellingborough and Rushden Campaign I will be visiting Higham Ferrers Infants School to listen to people’s concerns about the safety of children when they travel to and from the local schools.
‘Parents, teachers and local residents are extremely concerned about a proposed development which will increase traffic near to the school.
‘I will be accepting a petition against the development and I will be listening to the concerns that local people have.’
