Biography Steven North

I have lived in Rushden for many years and I am a landscape gardener by profession. In addition, I work part-time for Peter Bone MP as a constituency assistant. Having been the Leader of East Northamptonshire Council for over ten years, I have an intimate knowledge of the problems and challenges our area faces. I ran a high-performing council – one of the best in the country, which always kept council tax low. Rushden Lakes is one of my proudest achievements. Being a founder member of the ‘Listening Campaign’, I am determined to listen to residents, campaign on their issues, and deliver results.
