Parliamentary Boundary Review
1st November, 2016.
Come And Have Your Say
The Boundary Commission for England is currently consulting on plans which would see your village moved out of the Wellingborough constituency, meaning that, after the next General Election, you would be represented by an MP who does not know your area. As things stand, it is proposed that:
- Finedon is transferred to the Kettering constituency.
- Bozeat, Easton Maudit, Grendon, Strixton and Wollaston are transferred to the Northampton South constituency.
- Great Harrowden, Hardwick, Isham, Little Harrowden and Orlingbury are transferred to the Daventry & Lutterworth constituency.
Peter Bone MP opposes these plans and will be holding a series of public meetings in support of his campaign to stop the changes. Please do come along to any of the meetings below:
10th November, 7pm - St Mary’s Church Community Hall, Allens Hill, Bozeat, NN29 7LW.
11th November, 7pm - Finedon Town Hall, Berry Green Road, Finedon, NN9 5JL.
14th November, 7pm - Wollaston Village Hall, High Street, Wollaston, NN29 7QE.
18th November, 6.30pm - Isham Village Hall, Church Street, Isham, NN14 1HD.
You can let the Boundary Commission for England know your views on the current proposals online at www.bce2018.org.uk, or by writting, by the 5th December 2016, to:
