David Goss is Chairman of Wellingborough Conservative Association.
David previously stood as the Conservative Parliamentary candidate for Wellingborough and Rushden in the July 2024 General Election and continues to play an active role in supporting the Association and its members across the constituency.
David lives in Finedon. He was born on a council estate and educated at a state comprehensive school, becoming the first in his family to attend university. He went on to study at Loughborough University, an experience that shaped his strong belief in opportunity, aspiration, and hard work.
Following graduation, David began his career with the police before moving into the City of London. More recently, he has worked in the Department for International Trade, bringing experience from both frontline public service and national government to his role within the Association.
David has previously served as a councillor on both Town and Unitary Council and has a strong understanding of local government and grassroots campaigning. As Chairman, he is focused on strengthening the Association, supporting local activists, and ensuring the Conservative message continues to resonate across Wellingborough and Rushden.
