Simon Masters is the Leader of Wellingborough Town Council, where he plays a key role in shaping local policy and supporting community development. In addition to his leadership responsibilities, he serves as Chairman of the Swanspool Committee and Chairman of the Sports, Culture and Leisure Committee, helping to oversee and promote important community facilities, events, and initiatives.
Professionally, Simon is an electrical engineer and the owner of a successful electrical contracting company that delivers regeneration projects across the UK. He is a strong advocate for investing in local communities and is committed to employing local labour wherever possible. His company provides opportunities for local people and supports several apprenticeship programmes in partnership with local colleges, helping to develop the next generation of skilled tradespeople.
Alongside his engineering business, Simon manages a local property portfolio focused on refurbishing and improving properties within the area. Through this work, he aims to enhance local housing stock and contribute to the ongoing regeneration and attractiveness of the community.
