I’m Viv Wilkinson, a mother of two daughters and have four granddaughters. I’m a part-qualified accountant and volunteer at Animals in Need.
I’ve been a councillor for Irchester parish since March 2019. Prior to this, I successfully headed a campaign to dismiss plans for 200 houses in Little Irchester.
I campaigned with others in Wellingborough talking to people about leaving the EU.
I enjoy making a difference and having a say in how best to go forward with our town. I followed the development of Rushden Lakes and visit often. I’m watching with interest the development to the West of Rushden Lakes.
Having lived in other areas, Wellingborough is the best place to live.
Having a new town council is an exciting adventure encouraging the development of the town nurturing it in to being the best in Northamptonshire.
